Qualifications
License & Credentials
I am a Licensed
Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington State (No. LW5212). I also
hold two advanced credentials from the National Association of Social
Workers: Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW) and Qualified Clinical
Social Worker (QCSW).
I am a member of the

opportunities for seminars to continue my clinical education and obtain

Education
I received a Master
of Social Work degree from the University of Washington in 1992. I
specialize in clinical social work – meaning I work with individuals,
couples and groups with emotional and behavioral concerns. I completed a
nine-month course in psychodynamic psychotherapy, as well as the Advanced
Training Seminar in couples therapy from the Gottman Institute.
Experience
My
professional experience includes providing therapy in a community mental
health clinic, clinical research projects, and private practice. I also have
been involved in clinical, prevention, direct services, and training work
with HIV/AIDS issues since 1992. I have maintained a private practice since
November 1992.
